Course Description
The LG Sprint TRI is a 500-yard open water swim followed by a 12-mile bike loop from the water near the Clubhouse, up scenic Valley Road Road. The third leg features a 5K run through the Siena Valley Club development. This is a great course for first-timers and seasoned pros alike.

The 17th Annual LG TRI and 13th Annual LG Kids TRI take place in the beautiful Vail Valley mountain town of Gypsum, CO.
Arrive at 6:00 a.m. Race begins at 7:00 a.m. LG Kids TRI race will begin at 10:00 AM, but please arrive early.

Location & Directions
This event is held in memory of our friend, Laura Genelin, who passed away in July of 2008 from colon cancer. Laura loved participating in triathlons. To keep her passion alive, we chose to hold one annually in her hometown of Eagle, Colorado. In 2023, we moved the race to beautiful Siena Valley Club in Gypsum, Colorado.
Proceeds from the race will benefit the Vail Valley Charitable Fund, helping locals like Laura in medical crisis since 1996. To learn more about our nonprofit, visit www.vvcf.org.
